SL300 Liner Machine

The SL300 Liner Machine combines lid movement and compound application in a single integrated system, optimized for high-speed production.

Unlike the SL250 model, ends are fed in a transverse position (short side leading). This configuration reduces the spacing between ends increasing line density and overall production capacity.

Thanks to this optimization, the machine can reach speeds of up to 300 ends per minute (depending on format).

The process begins with a feeder composed of three knives positioner that ensure end flatness and proper presentation. The end is then transported by a precision endless conveyor belt beneath the Spider Head Liner application head.

Compound application is performed with constant linear speed and uniform pressure, ensuring high regularity and bead stability. The injector follows the lid movement during the process, allowing the lining operation to be completed in a single cycle and maximizing production efficiency.

After the lining process, the end is transferred to a second belt positioned at 90°, which reorients the end back to its standard orientation to ensure proper entry into the drying or curing oven.

The machine incorporates the same automatic cleaning system as the Spider Head Liner.

Automatic Cleaning System

The system consists of:

Cleaning brush
Purge station
Water tank with automatic pumping

At configurable time intervals, the head automatically moves to the cleaning station where:

The nozzle passes through the brush.
Compound purging is performed.
The nozzle passes the brush again before returning to the application position.

During production stops:

The nozzle is positioned inside the water tank to prevent air ingress.
Compound drying inside the injector is avoided.
Before restarting production, the system executes the brush → purge → brush cycle to ensure optimal working conditions.

This automatic process maintains application stability and minimizes maintenance interventions.
